Representative of Armenian consortium members met with Vice-Minister of MESCS

Representatives of Armenian consortium members of WBL4JOB project met with Mr. Karen Trchunyan, Vice-Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of RA.

After greeting the participants of the meeting by Vice-minister, the detailed outline of fact fining analysis, outcomes, aims and the first year of activates of the project were presented by Dr. Arayik Navoyan, vice-rector of UFAR. Participants discussed the importance of WBL in High Education and its role as tool of decrease unemployment among graduates.

Prof. Bertrand Venard, Rector of UFAR, spoke about the role of WBL in Higher Educational system in Europe and its effectiveness to solve social issues facing youth. Dr. Arayik Navoyan presented the exiting definition of WBL along with the new suggested one for WBL4JOB project. In his tern, Seyran Sargsyan, CEO of UBA, spoke about the issues Armenian banks are facing nowadays due to lack of professionals and qualified employees. The role of Ministry of Education, Science, Sport and Culture was discussed.

At the end of the meeting Vice-Minister wished success to project and express his hope for fruitful cooperation.
