On October 7, 2022, the online training of mentors for Armenian HEIs was held.
Even though the training was planned to be offline, due to the military situation at the Armenian border some partners were forbidden to travel to Armenia, so the training was conducted online.

The objectives of the training are:

• To raise awareness and reach a common understanding of the principles for WBL development;
• To introduce participants to the practical WBL aspects;
• To give adequate skills to the mentors and university staff involved in the piloting of AHEMs.

After the training the participants were able to:

• Understand the context, challenges, and added value of WBL
• Look for opportunities that the WBL system provides
• Communicate the WBL benefits to other actors
• Link their individual position, in their organizational context to a broader picture regarding implementation of WBL
• Organize and support practical learning at the workplace.

The training was conducted by IMC Krems University and Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3.

The project coordinator promised to think over an extra activity to fulfil the gap that could possibly be left due to online training.
